M/V Divine Mercy is a twin‑screw towboat built in 2007 by LaForce Shipyard in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. She carries a 74' x 28' footprint and is powered by CAT 3508 diesels delivering 2,000 horsepower through Reintjes Red 5.947:1 gearing.
Originally owned by Eckstein Marine Service, she joined the Marquette Transportation fleet later that same year.
Seen here providing the sole push behind the old M/V Frank Chopp and a single barge, Divine Mercy shows exactly what she was built for — steady power, clean handling, and dependable river work.
